ABOUT US

Based in Puncknowle, in the beautiful Bride Valley in Dorset, Dorset to Doorstep are a husband and wife team offering a private hire taxi car service specialising in airport and cruise transfers and days out, while also offering shorter journeys in the local area. Established in 2019 we have been running a full time service from April 2022. We were really proud to be asked to take over Journey Bound Solutions in 2021/2 following the retirement of Pete Bunyan after many years of service and we are proud to offer the same exemplary service.

Richard Kennelly is our driver and has over forty years' driving experience in various professions including 23 years for the Government Car Service, driving ministers around London and far beyond. He has also worked for the Blood Transfusion Service and as an HGV driver for Dorset Council. He prides himself on providing a high level of service to all of our customers, no matter how long or short the journey. Richard is supported by his wife, Carol, who looks after the office and administration for the business, managing enquiries and bookings and generally keeping things running smoothly.

We have a large, comfortable vehicle which can accommodate 7 people travelling with minimal luggage, or it can be adapted to offer an extensive luggage space for fewer passengers.

We now have a second vehicle on the fleet, an SUV Honda CRV carrying up to 4 passengers. Currently we remain with just one driver, Richard.
